The Indiana State Chess Association
**The Indiana State Chess Hall of Fame was formed 2002. Persons may be inducted in honor of service to chess in Indiana or for state championships won. Criteria are set by ISCA bylaws, and are as follows: Service to Chess in Indiana: A person must meet all of the following criteria: 1. 25+ years of service to chess in Indiana (can be waived) 2. Nominated by an ISCA member with at least one page describing their service to chess. 3. Board of Directors passes approval with 3/4 majority. 4. Approved at general ISCA meeting with simple majority. Championship Performance: A person is automatically inducted upon meeting at least one of the following criteria: A. Four state championships won B. Three consecutive state championships won C. Win the state championship, class championship, blitz championship, and quick championship in a single calendar year.
