Longtime Indiana chess organizer and player Craig Hines was inducted into the Indiana State Chess Hall of Fame, awarded for over 25 years of loyal service.
He has directed many official ISCA events throughout the years, and the last few years he has been the prime mover for the State Championship, the Northern Indiana Open, and his signature Southern Indiana Open, which he first ran in Evansville in 1975 and lately has moved north to Bloomington.
